Nightfall - Afternoon Gathering of Clouds

Materials used: Handmade pastels on 300 g cotton paper.
As the sun is setting there is often a quiet moment before the breeze gather the clouds and the low rays of sun make them more visible and paint them so beautifully. This is an Afternoon of gathering clouds. In the Nightfall series I explore the times of day when the drama of night and day take place and create fantastic ethereal colour moods and the sky offers the most spectacular colour displays.
