A Grove of Trees. Enchanted Water Views series

Materials used: Handmade pastels on 300 g cotton paper.
Inspired by the beautiful autumn colours and the bright bursts of light when the sun decides to shine upon us. I really enjoyed to play with the lines. This is a favourite view of mine and it’s created from good memories.
This series are inspired by the beautiful places where we can admire the view of water. I live on a peninsula on the West Coast of Norway , with the North Sea at one side and the Fjords on the other. Majestic mountains and peaceful spots amongst trees provide shelter from rain and wind and also great views of water.
Soft pastels create a velvety and soft surface which means that the artwork needs framing, this can be provided on request. The artwork has a fine layer of fixative as finish. Illustration photo showing artwork hanging and framed. I ship internationally, by appointment it can be picked up at my studio.
